Welcome! I'm Kathy Gillespie designer, quilter, and owner of True Hollow Quilts, LLC. True Hollow is not just a place on the map to me, it's a place in my heart. Generations of my family have lived in this quiet tucked away hollow since the 1800's. We live in a cozy log cabin constructed by my wonderful Husband and my Dad. We have the beauty of nature right outside our back door everyday. I love the changing of the seasons in Ohio. There is always new inspiration just outside the window if you take time to look. 

I started sewing at a very early age and have been sewing on and off my whole life. I got interested in quilting through my Mom. She is a multi talented lady with quilting as only one of her many accomplishments. She inspires me and is one of my greatest cheerleaders along with my husband, our two grown daughters, and my sisters. 

The whole process of making and finishing quilts has absolutely captivated my heart and I have never looked back. I have been quilting to varying degrees for the last 10 years. Purchasing a longarm machine was a scary endeavor but one I have never regretted. I love being able to put the finishing layer on quilts for both myself and for others.
