Pull up a chair and let's sit on the porch and talk quilts! I love everything about quilt making, from the initial idea, to choosing a pattern or making your own, finding just the right fabrics, piecing it all together, longarm quilting to add another layer and dimension, all the way to the final stage of binding to frame it all out. Did I mention I Love Quilts!
I hope to inspire you on this blog to try new techniques, improve existing skills (because there is always room to grow), and above all encourage each other in this quilting journey. We are all at different stages and skill levels, and it is important to lift each other up as we continue on our paths to quilty goodness. Remember there are no Quilt Police on this blog! I have been blessed with the best cheer leader of all, my Mom who has encouraged me every step on this quilting journey. She is an accomplished quilt maker and has inspired me to get into this exciting creative arena and continues to do so as I move forward. I hope we can all be that encouraging to each other and you feel empowered to try new ideas and techniques.
So let's start stitching some memories together today - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thanks for stopping by!
